# ao3-bookmarklet
|

|
Bookmarklet to convert the HTML in AO3 and SquidgeWorld's "Share" code to Markdown.
|
|
|
|
## To add bookmarklet
|
|
|
|
1. Add a bookmark using your browser's tools
|
|
2. Copy the code from `bookmarklet.js` and paste it as the URL
|
|
3. Set the name to anything you want
|
|
|
|
OR
|
|
|
|
1. Go to [Bookmarklet Maker](https://caiorss.github.io/bookmarklet-maker/) or some similar website
|
|
2. Copy the code from `code.js`
|
|
3. Set the title to anything you want
|
|
4. Click and drag the bookmarklet to your bookmarks bar
|
|
|
|
## How to use
|
|
|
|
1. Go to a work on [Archive of Our Own](https://archiveofourown.org/) or [SquidgeWorld](https://squidgeworld.org/)
|
|
2. Click the "Share" button
|
|
3. Click the bookmarklet
|
|
4. Copy what's in the share textbox
|
|
5. Paste on any platform that supports Markdown to share |
